We will pursue all available legal remedies against infringers, including statutory damages of up to $150,000 per work infringed for willful infringement under 17 U.S.C. § 504(c)(2).

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content hosted on MyopiaProgression.com infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notification pursuant to the DMCA. Your notice must include all of the following elements to be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):
- Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notification, provide a representative list.
- Identification of the infringing material: Identification of the material that you claim is infringing and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., the URL of the page containing the material).

- Physical or electronic signature: A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
Warning: Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
Counter-Notification Procedure
If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with our designated agent. Your counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which MyopiaProgression.com may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the original complainant does not file a court action within 10 business days, we will restore the removed material.
Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable law, MyopiaProgression.com has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users or account holders who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to the website and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.

All content on MyopiaProgression.com is the exclusive property of MyopiaProgression.com and is protected by copyright law. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Provider directory data: Our curated database of myopia management specialists, including practice information, treatment offerings, and verification status
- Educational content: Articles, guides, research summaries, treatment comparisons, and risk assessment tools
- Original research compilations: Our evidence library, research reports, and data analyses
- Website design and code: The visual design, user interface, and underlying software of this website
- Brand assets: Logos, trademarks, and trade dress
Unauthorized use of our content will be met with legal action.
We actively monitor for unauthorized reproduction of our content using both automated tools and manual review. If we discover that our content has been scraped, copied, or reproduced without authorization, we will issue DMCA takedown notices and pursue all available legal remedies, including statutory damages under 17 U.S.C. § 504.
