VISUAL GUIDE 2 / 3

Change the outing when the conditions change

Comfortable conditions → choose the activity

Check the setting, supervision, correction and relevant protection before starting.

Strong sun or heat → adapt the plan

Use shade and suitable protection. Consider another time, a shorter outing or a safer alternative.

Unsafe conditions or individual restriction → follow advice

Use local health guidance and the child’s care plan. Do not chase an outdoor-time score.

A planning framework, not a medical heat threshold. Sun-gazing is never part of myopia prevention. Sources: [2] ·
